This is touted as an AM/FM radio clock. The clock portion appears to work well, however, if you select radio there is nothing on the display to tell you to what station you are listening. I am extremely sorry that I bought this item.
I took a chance and bought this, even after reading some of the other negative reviews. At first, I just ignored it, but now it's beyond frustrating. I take great care of my electronics, so I thought maybe I wouldn't have any problems. Multiple parts of the LCD display have burnt out over a little more than a year's time. I called RCA (and it's very hard to find a phone number for them), and they have terrible customer service. They are not willing to help me at all because it's been over a year since I purchased the clock.Buyer beware.
Without repeating all the pros others have listed, I just wanted to say it's a great clock with one problem - the buttons are poorly built.I've had the clock 2 weeks and already the off button is breaking. I have to press it in on an angle and very hard to turn off the alarm. I really hope it doesn't get any worse. If your buttons hold up, this is a really good alarm clock.
I bought this based upon other reviews and was not disappointed. The only issue I had was figuring out how to toggle between alarm 1 and 2 and that was probably just my inability to read instructions correctly. This is well worth it.
It's bright, acurate, and blends in with any current plasma/hd TV, also perfect for a bedroom, easy to read at night
